The Ultrapulse CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) Laser has been used at The Aesthetic Surgery Center since August of 1995 and has become an integral part of the contemporary approach to restoring the aging face. Facelifts, forehead lifts and blepharoplasties have little or no effect on fine to medium facial wrinkles. These procedures can not pull skin tight enough to remove fine to medium facial wrinkles, especially wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. Crepey eyelid skin, vertical lip and frown lines can be smoothed effectively with the use of the Carbon Dioxide laser.

BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA approved purified protein. It is a nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily reduce moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in patients 18 to 65 years of age. During the treatment, very low doses of BOTOX® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines between the brows.

Sclero Therapy

Sclero and therapy treats the small purple and red blood vessels (spider veins) most commonly found on the thighs, lower legs and ankles of women as well as men. Spider veins or cherry spots may also appear on the trunk and face. During the sclero procedure, a solution is injected into the vein through a micro-needle, which generally causes very little pain. The solution causes the vein to turn white and then gradually disappear from the skin surface. A typical treatment may take 15 to 20 minutes and consist of multiple injections. Sclero and laser therapy may eliminate the need for an invasive surgical procedure.

Does Fraxel treatment hurt?

Topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedue to minimize discomfort. After the treatment, most patients report a feeling similar to having gotten too much sun. It usually disappears after 1 to 3 hours.
